While HYP does not have a membership fee, we do suggest members make an annual donation of $50 or more to Habitat for Humanity Seattle/South King County. Donations are a vital part of how Habitat continues to provide safe and affordable housing in our neighborhoods. Your generous contributions go directly into the cost of each project.

     Here are some actual costs your donation can be contributing to:

            $5 = One 2x4 for construction
          $10 = Box of Nails
          $35 = One bundle of roof shingles
          $50 = One low flow toilet
        $100 = The average cost to build one sq. foot of a house
        $500 = Interior paint for a house
     $1,000 = Exterior siding for a house
     $5,000 = The foundation for a house

To express our appreciation, members donating $50 or more receive a free HYP T-shirt.
