HYP/Campus Chapter Career Night

Calling all HYP Members!  We are looking for volunteers to participate in a joint HYP/Campus Chapter event.  Participate will have a chance to talk with college students about what your job entails and answer any questions the students may have.  This is the perfect opportunity for young professionals to share their knowledge and experience with future colleagues over pizza and beverages.  There are no restrictions on careers or degrees - all are encourage to sign up.  If interested - please contact Sarah Ng thru our contact page.

Key to Hope: Habitat Benefit Breakfast

 The Key to Hope Benefit Breakfast is always an inspirational event for everyone that attend.  Guests will get a chance to meet Habitat homeowners, as well as learn about Habitat's work to eliminate poverty housing in our communities.  Come together for a morning of fellowship with Habitat family and friends as you help Habitat provide a key to hope for partner families. 

Thanks to generous corporate sponsorship, the cost of the breakfast will be underwritten so 100% of donations will go directly towards building homes.  

Featured Speaker: Ron Sims, Deputy Secretary of HUD

Plus inspirational speeches from Habitat Seattle/South King County CEO, Marty Kooistra and current Habitat for Humanity partner families

HYP will be hosting our own table at the event, so RSVP to reserve your spot today!

March Build Day at Rainier Vista

 When: Sat, March 24th, 8:30am-4pm

Where: South Seattle
Directions to the job site will be in your confirmation email

The Habitat Rainier Vista Phase 2 is underway.  The block is designed to accommodate a variety of family sizes with an emphasis on creating a safe, accessible site with front yard gardens and ample rear yards. Volunteers will be assisting with a variety of construction jobs including tasks such as site preparation, framing, and painting. Relax after the build by joining the rest of the HYP Crew at a near by restaurant for food and drinks.
